India can potentially send as many as three teams to the T20 World Cup 2024, Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake has claimed. Blake, an ardent cricket fan, lauded India's bench strength and talent pool days ahead of the Indian team announcement for the T20 World Cup 2024.
The 34-year-old, who is eyeing for a gold medal at Paris Olympics 2024, has also backed Ishan Kishan and Dinesh Karthik to be picked in the India squad for T20 World Cup 2024.

"Currently, it is incredibly challenging to select the Indian T20 World Cup team due to the immense talent pool available. There are so many talented Indian players that it seems like they could potentially send three teams to the World Cup," Yohan Blake wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, April 23.
With the T20 World Cup 2024 scheduled to be held in the USA and the West Indies from June 2, discussions on the compositions of the Indian team is rife these days. Experts and fans alike have started to make their predictions, and back their favourite players.
All the Indians stars are currently auditioning for the mega event in the ongoing IPL 2024. The BCCI selectors are reportedly going to announce the 15-member squad by the end of April. India will kick off their campaign against Ireland on June 5.
On the other hand, Virender Sehwag has picked his India's playing eleven for the T20 World Cup 2024. He has picked the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube, Rishabh Pant and Sandeep Sharma ahead of Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul and Arshdeep Singh.
