As the nation is celebrating Holi, the Indian cricket team wasn't untouched by the festival of colours. Team India played Holi with each other on Tuesday (March 7) in their team bus.
Rohit Sharma and his team are in Ahmedabad to play the fourth and final Test against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium, starting Thursday (March 9).
While Holi celebrations already began in some parts of the country, the festival will be celebrated with much fervour on Wednesday (March 8).
As Team India will be giving the final touches to its preparations for the must-win fourth Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, they might not be able to play with colours tomorrow. Hence, the cricketers and the support staff decided to celebrate on Tuesday.
Young India batter Shubman Gill - who is smeared in Gulal - took to his social media handle to share a video to give a peek at his team's Holi celebrations inside the team bus.
While senior India cricketer Virat Kohli could be seen dancing, captain Rohit Sharma could also be spotted posing for the camera. When he spots Gill making a video, the Mumbaikar also threw the dry colour towards the camera.
Everyone in the team bus could be seen their faces coloured red, green, and blue with Gulal and are in a jovial mood. India batter Shreyas Iyer could also be seen shouting it out loud while posing for the camera.
Later, the official Twitter handle of the Indian Men's Cricket Team also shared images of Holi Celebrations.

The hosts already retained the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 by taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series but their shock defeat in the third Test held in Indore has put a major threat to their World Test Championships Final qualification scenario.
A loss or draw in Ahmedabad will put India's WTC Final qualification chances in the doldrums for then, their fate will depend on the result of the upcoming Test series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
