South Africa and West Indies will continue their white ball battle in the shortest format when they lock horns in the first T20I of the three-match series at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on Saturday (March 25).
The host claimed a white-wash in the Test series to begin the tour, while the visitors bounced back to win the second ODI before the home side drew the series level in the final ODI.

Now, the two sides, who had a mediocre T20 World Cup last year start afresh with new captains and some new faces in their squads as they look to build for the next edition of the show-piece event in 2024.
South Africa will be led by Aiden Markram, who was named the skipper, replacing Temba Bavuma, while the West Indies will be captained by Rovman Powell, who takes over the reigns from Nicholas Pooran.
The T20I series will also see the return of Proteas pace spearheads Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada, who played no part in the ODI series. All eyes will be on Heinrich Klassen, who smashed a quick-fire hundred in the final ODI.
