Overall, the job was neat from the bowling unit of the Southern Brave Women. All the bowlers' economy rate is under 7,50 except Lauren Bell, who had an off day. Now it's the job of the batters to chase this formidable total. We all can expect a blistering start from Lizelle Lee, trying to make the maximum of the Powerplay. The Indian duo anchored it well - After the fall of the first wicket, Richa Ghosh came out at number 3, and we could sense them ripping the leather off the ball, but yet again we guessed it wrong as Ghosh and Smriti kept it calm and composed, but also did not back away from putting away the bad deliveries. Both the Indian batters notched an 83-run partnership before Wong broke the partnership by eliminating Smriti Mandhana. But as soon as the wicket fell, Richa Ghosh lost her wicket as well and both the set batters were back in their hut.

Super Giants off to a composed start - After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Super Giants gave a big surprise to their opposition after we all saw Smriti Mandhana walking out with Grace Scrivens in place of Meg Lanning. However, the start was full of caution and no rash shots were being played by the openers. But after a couple of sets, Scrivens started to shift her gears, and while that she lost her wicket to Tilly Corteen-Coleman.

Who got the upper hand? Well, to be honest, the game looks pretty even after the first innings. Yes, skipper Lanning would have liked to push the score toward 150-160, and especially after the start from the top order, but the middle-order batters failed a bit to post a good score. On the other hand, it's a good comeback by the Southern Brave Women bowling unit, shifting the game from 122-3 to restricting their opponent to 139.
