Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh Live Score, Asia Cup 2023 Super Four: Sri Lanka will be playing their first match of the Super Four stage as they take on Bangladesh at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo on Saturday (September 9).
This is the second match of the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four stage for Bangladesh, who are worried about their batting following a shambolic show in defeat to Pakistan. The Shakib Al-Hassan-led side couldn't even touch the 200-figure despite half-centuries from the captain and veteran Mushfiqur Rahman.

This brings us to the end of this live blog. Sri Lanka - the defending champions - have claimed two crucial points. This will give them a lot of confidence ahead of the Super 4 match against India next week. While Bangladesh have been eliminated from Asia Cup 2023 after losing both Super 4 games.
A clinical win for the Dasun Shanaka-led side in the match as they scored decently with the bat to post a respectable total on a surface which looked good for batting and bowling. But the wicket kept slowing down and a slightly slower outfield aided Sri Lankan bowlers. Towhid Hridoy and Mushfiqur Rahim revived Bangladesh Tigers after top-order collapsed in the run chase of 258 but they were dismissed at wrong time. Shakib Al Hasan-led side required a knock like Sadeera Samarawickrama - who scored 93 off 72 balls at number 4 and gave late impetus to Sri Lanka - took their team to a respectable total of 257 in 50 overs.
