T20 World Cup 2024 Group B Points Table: Adam Zampa starred as Australia sealed their Super 8 spot following a comprehensive 9-wicket win over Namibia at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua & Barbuda on Wednesday (June 12).

Zampa (4 for 12 in 4 overs) helped bundle out Namibia for 72 before David Warner (20 off 8 balls), Travis Head (34* off 17 balls) and Mitchell Marsh (18* off 9 balls) chased down the meagre target with 14.2 overs to spare.

Earlier, put into bat, only skipper Gerhard Erasmus (36 off 43 balls) scored the highest for Namibia as Zampa and co ran through the batting order. Apart from Zampa, Josh Hazlewood and Marcus Stoinis claimed two wickets each, while Pat Cummins and Nathan Ellis also took a wicket-a-piece.

With the win, Australia moved to 6 points in 3 matches, and also got a massive boost to their net run rate thanks to their swift finish, while Namibia were eliminated from the race with 2 points from 3 matches.

Scotland and England are expected fight for the other spot from Group B, but the defending champions will need to win their remaining matches and hope Australia do them a favour to stand a chance of qualification. Here is a look at Group B points table after Namibia lost to Australia:
