From June 4 onwards, under the guidance of national men's coach Ryan Cook, the Dutch cricket team will embark on their journey to participate in the marquee event. Scott Edwards will be leading the Dutch side in the showpiece event. The tournament is slated to be held across the United States and the West Indies.

A total of twenty teams will engage in 55 matches across seven Caribbean nations and three cities in the United States. This marks the first instance in international cricket history where an Associate country has qualified for three consecutive World Cups. The Dutch side previously competed in the T20 World Cup in Australia in autumn 2022 and the 50-over World Cup in autumn 2023.
