Team India for Australia: Yuvraj, Nehra back in T20; Jadeja stages comeback in T20, ODI

New Delhi, Dec 19: The national selectors on Saturday picked the Indian squad for the upcoming limited-overs series in Australia.

As expected back in form all rounder Ravindra Jadeja was selected for ODI as well as T20 squad, while left-handed batsman Suresh Raina was left out of ODI side while retained his place in T20 squad.

All rounder Stuart Binny is also dropped from both the squads.

Veterans Yuvraj Singh and Ashish Nehra brought back into India's Twenty20 squad for Australia tour. Off-spinner Harbhajan to kept his place in the T20 squad.

Apart from Yuvraj pacers Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami also recalled back in the team.

Youngster Gurkeerat Singh has been retained, while younsger Rishi Dhawan was included in ODI squad.

Punjab's young left-arm seamer Brainder Sran and Baroda all-rounder Hardik Pandya were the new faces for the tour.

The 23-year-old Sran and 22-year-old Pandya were rewarded with a berth in the ODI and T20 squads respectively for their consistent performance in domestic circuit.

There were a number of players like Stuart Binny, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ambati Rayudu, Mohit Sharma, Amit Mishra and Harbhajan Singh, who were omitted from the ODI squad.

MS Dhoni will be T20 team's skipper for the upcoming T20 world cup, selectors informed media.

T20:
