IPL 2023 on Saturday (April 8) is set to witness two mouthwatering contests as Rajasthan Royals take on Delhi Capitals while Mumbai Indians face Chennai Super Kings later in the evening of the doubleheader.
Both Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals - who will be in action in the day game - are coming on the back of defeats in their previous game. While Mumbai Indians will be aiming to keep their dominant record against CSK at home intact and taste their first win of the season.

Royals - who will be playing their second home game at their adopted home in Guwahati - lost their previous match here. The Sanju Samson-led side will be raring to return to winning ways despite the absence of their star batter Jos Buttler.
Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, cantered to a shambolic 8-wicket loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the latter's backyard in Bengaluru. It was the first match of the season for the Rohit Sharma-led side.
The IPL 2023 Match No. 11 will be played between Rajasthan and Delhi on April 8 at Barsapara Cricket Ground in Guwahati (Assam). Rajasthan and Delhi have so far featured in 26 games and both the teams have won an equal number of matches, 13.
Rajasthan Royals' highest total against Delhi is 222 while Delhi's best total against the champions of the inaugural season is 207. DC's lowest total against Rajasthan is 60 while RR's lowest score against the same opposition is 115.
The two most successful teams in the history of IPL will take on each other in Match No. 12 of IPL 2023. Rohit's MI will lock horns with MS Dhoni-led CSK in the second doubleheader on April 8. Out of 34 IPL matches, between these two big teams, Mumbai enjoy a big edge with 20 wins. While Chennai came out victorious in 14 of those.
MI's highest score against CSK is 219 while the latter's total of 218 is the most it has scored against the former. Mumbai's lowest total against Chennai is 136 while CSK were bundled out for 79 in the past by MI bowlers.
Match number 11 of IPL 2023 between RR and DC will be played at Barsapara Cricket Ground in Guwahati. The venue is the second home ground of the Royals. RR vs DC IPL 2023 Match 11 will begin at 3:30 PM.
Match number 12 of IPL 2023 between MI and CSK will be played in the maximum city, Mumbai at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The venue is the home ground of Mumbai Indians and fans will witness a sea of blue when the match begins at 7:30 PM.
This year, BCCI has picked up 12 venues to host IPL 2023 matches instead of ten. With the home-and-away concept back in this edition, the ten venues became the obvious choice but the IPL Governing Council added two more venues to expand the reach of the premier domestic competition.
Guwahati and Dharamsala are the other two venues where a few IPL 2023 matches will be held. Guwahati is the second home of Rajasthan Royals while Punjab Kings will play some of their home games in Dharamsala.
