Dhawan top scores for India
The opener wasn't timing the ball well all through his innings and couldn't make a tall score despite gaining two lives.
Shamsi had dropped him twice, on nine in the sixth over off Morris at short third man and then at 34 in the 13th over off Aaron Phangiso (0/13).
Dhawan departed for 46 off 40 deliveries as he was run-out off Dala.
Dala is scalps Rohit for the third time in the series
Junior Dala (3/35) got Rohit Sharma out for the third time in three matches, trapping him leg-before on the third ball of his first over. The batsman chose not to review even as the umpire did check for a no ball.
The youngster, who was the biggest positive for the Proteas in this series, bagged the wickets of Rohit, Manish Pandey and MS Dhoni.
Raina plays another aggressive knock
Raina upped the tempo immediately after coming to the crease in the second over. With a flurry of boundaries, he and Dhawan took India to 57/1 in the first six overs and their 50-partnership came off 37 balls.
The southpaw scored 43 off 27 before getting dismissed while trying to amass runs quickly.
He also picked up a wicket as skipper Rohit Sharma asked him to bowl in the middle overs. Raina was named the man of the match for his all round performance.
Manish Pandey departs cheaply
The highest-scorer in the last game Manish Pandey was promoted at No. 3 but he couldn't make the most of it this time. He was caught in the deep off Dala in the 14th over after adding just 13 runs to his name.
Dhoni scores just 12
The veteran batsman scored a breezy half-century in the last T20I and team expected a similar effort from the senior-most player in the side. Dhoni started things his trademark style and quickly added runs by taking ones and twos but couldn't last long.
He was dismissed for just 12 by Dala while trying to accelarate the innings.
Dhoni, Pandya and Dinesh Karthik (13) fell in the space of 8 balls as South Africa topped up a controlled display with the ball.
Shikhar takes Hendricks' catch
Chasing a target of 173, the hosts didn't get off to a great start though, with in-form Reeza Hendricks (7) skying a catch off Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2-24) and Shikhar Dhawan taking a simple catch.
The Gabbar took the catch and celebrated in his trademark style.
Miller's poor show continues
David Miller's poor run with the bat against India continued as he was dismissed by part-timer Raina for 24. The left-handed batsman opened up, as did Duminy at the other end as they added 35 runs for the second wicket but consumed 38 balls in doing so.
Raina picked up the wicket of Miller just before the half-way mark, as the batsman was caught slogging in the deep. Axar Patel took a well-judged catch near the boundary ropes.
Bumrah castles Morris' stumps
Jasprit Bumrah, who looked a little rusty, bowled Chris Morris (4) to further hurt the Protea chase.
But the debutant Jonker had other plans as he launched a measured attack on the Indian bowling. With 53 needed off 18 balls, he took 18 runs off Thakur's 18th over and then smacked Bumrah for another 16 in the penultimate over, putting up 51 runs off just 22 balls with Ferhaan Behardien (15 not out).
India win another limited overs series
Team India recorded yet another series win as they defeated South Africa first in the ODIs and later in the T20Is and wraped up the tour on a high.
