New Delhi, Sep 12: Days after he revealed that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is very busy and doesn't pick anybody's call, senior India cricketer Yuvraj Singh has now taken a dig at Test skipper Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli is a big miser, I have to force him to shell out money: Yuvraj Singh

In an interview to FM station Radio Mirchi, Yuvraj revealed several senior players have been misers in the Indian team, especially the seniors. The left-hander, however, refused to divulge their name terming it is a very sensitive issue.

But the 34-year-old cricketer, while, talking about Virat Kohli reportedly said,"I don't how to explain. It's like this is yours and this is mine, you will pay for this one and I will pay for that one. You know, in our Punjabi culture, we don't have that, if we are going out, then one person pays but some people are different and currently, Virat Kohli is the biggest miser. So, every time we go out, it's me always paying and I have to force him to give the money".

Yuvraj revealed the same about veteran India seamer Ashish Nehra and former pacer Javagal Srinath both of whom used to come up with excuses whenever asked to shell out money.

"Usually Ashish is very generous but he gets miserable at times. When he got married, he used to say, please try to understand, I have to manage my wife and kids, I cannot spend much," Yuvi said about Nehra.

"Among the senior players Javagal Srinath was very generous. After playing so much of cricket with him, he (Srinath) finally gave us a dal chawal (rice-pulses) treat and we uploaded that picture on Twitter with a caption 'thank you Srinath Ji, for the treat after 15 years," he further added.

It will be interesting to see how Kohli, Nehra and Srinath take such a sarcasm from a fellow cricketer like Yuvraj.
