
New Delhi, Nov 27: The All-India Senior Selection Committee has on Monday (November 27) announced the squad for the third and final Test of the ongoing series between India and Sri Lanka.

Contrary to previous reports, India skipper Virat Kohli hasn't been rested for the third Test. However, the 29-year-old has been released for the upcoming ODI series against them.
In Kohli's absence, team's vice-captain in the limited-overs Rohit Sharma will be leading the team in the upcoming three-match ODI series.
"Current India captain Virat Kohli has been rested for the ODI series," said a BCCI release.
The Indian squad for the Test series is the same while young pacer Siddharth Kaul has been inducted into the ODI squad. Kaul plays for IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Shikhar Dhawan will be returning to the Test squad for the third and final match in Delhi.
The ODI series between the two teams begins from December 10.

Virat Kohli (Captain), M Vijay, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane (Vice-Captain), Rohit Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Vijay Shankar.
