Virat Kohli seeks 'double hundred handbook' from Rohit Sharma

New Delhi, Dec 19: India skipper Virat Kohli on Tuesday (December 19) thanked Rohit Sharma, his deputy in limited-overs format, for the latter's best wishes.

Rohit - who is leading Team India in the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka in Kohli's absence - took to Twitter to congratulate the 29-year-old on his wedding with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.

"Congratulations you two! @imVkohli , I'll share the husband handbook with you. @AnushkaSharma , keep the surname 😏," tweeted Rohit a day after the wedding took place in Italy.

To this Kohli replied saying,"Haha thanks Rohit, and please do share the Double Hundred Handbook as well. 😀"

Rohit recently slammed his ODI career's third double century during the second match against Sri Lanka in Mohali, last week.

Rohit is the only batsman in the history on the game to have smashed three double tons in 50-overs format. It seems Rohit's long innings in ODI format has caught his skipper's attention who too wants to play a big knock in the limited overs' format.

Kohli married his longtime girlfriend Anushka Sharma on December 11 in presence of his family members and close friends.

The couple is on a honeymoon in Europe and hasn't returned to India. They will be throwing lavish receptions in Delhi on December 21 and Mumbai on December 26.

Kohli recently slammed his career's sixth Test double hundred.
