Virat Kohli, Team India players meet 'greatest ever' Sir Viv Richards ahead of Antigua Test

Antigua, July 19: Former West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards met the Indian cricket team, that is on the Caribbean tour to play Test series, here and spent some quality time with them.

India's Test team arrived at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua on Monday (July 18) where they are going to play the first Test match.

India will play the first Test from July 21 to 25 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

India's Test skipper Virat Kohli along with other batsmen like Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul and Stuart Binny interacted with the legendary batsman before the series.

Kohli too shared the his image with Viv Richards. Viv Richards is a great admirer of Virat Kohli's batting and had once said Kohli reminds him of himself.

The 62-year-old Richards happily obliged as the Indian cricketers clicked selfies. Enjoyed having little discussion with Great Sir viv richards!!! Still feeling so happy!!??????," Dhawan said on the social networking site.

Promising opener KL Rahul tweeted, "Major fan boy moment ?? Sir viv was kind enough to give us some advice. #blessed #bossman what a legend.??"

Tweeting the pictures of the meeting the BCCI said, "The King @vivrichards56 and the Prince @imVkohli together in Antigua.

"A meeting to remember and cherish! Sir @vivrichards56 meet Team India members in Antigua."

"I love watching Virat Kohli bat. He looks to me like an individual of my own heart. I love his aggression, and [he has] serious passion that I used to have. He reminds me of myself," Richards was quoted as saying.

Richards is largely acknowledged as the most destructive batsman to have ever played.
