Virat Kohli urges Usain Bolt to contact him if he ever wished to play cricket

New Delhi, Aug 3: Star India cricketer Virat Kohli has sent a special message for Usain Bolt ahead of latter's final dash on track and field.

Bolt will be ending his glittering career at the IAAF World Championships in London, starting Friday (August 4).

The legendary Jamaican sprinter, an eight-time Olympic gold medallist with 11 world golds to his name and world record holder in the 100 and 200m, will race just the 100m and 4x100m relay in the British capital amid much fanfare for one last time.

Kohli, who is also a fan of the 'fastest man on the planet', and endorses same brand 'Puma' took to his Twitter handle to congratulate the 'Sprint King' on his remarkable journey.

"Doesn't matter if it's your last competitive race, you will always be #ForeverFastest on and off the track @usainbolt. @PumaCricket," wrote Kohli while sharing a video on his handle.

In the video message for Bolt, Kohli said, "Hey, Usain! I know it's your last race we are going to miss you a lot on the track. From me and everyone in the Puma family, we wish you all the very best for this one and all your future endeavours. If you ever wanna play cricket you know where to find me."

Bolt, who hails from the Caribbean Islands, is a big cricket enthusiast and in an interview revealed that the game was his first love. The Jamaican, during his maiden visit to India, played an exhibition match in 2014 and scored 19-ball 45.

The 30-year-old will leave a void in the track and field category and it will be a huge gap to fill. Bolt's startling on-track achievements having been accompanied by a charismatic yet humble personality that has never ceased to draw attention for all the right reasons.
