With the semi-finals already secured, the Indian team will be up against the Netherlands for their final World Cup 2023 group stage match on the eve of Diwali on Sunday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
As Team India lock horns with minnows Dutch in Bengaluru, there are already questions about how the Indian team should approach this match. With the semi-finals tentatively on Wednesday, it is to be seen whether the think tank decides to rest some of their elite players from this match.

If the team decides to rest some of the players, there are ample options for them to swivel around.
Virat Kohli can be rested for this match, while Ravindra Jadeja or Kuldeep Yadav can also get an off day on Sunday. Ravichandran Ashwin, who just played the first match in the tournament, can be slotted in.
In the pace department, India can make some changes as well. Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami have been excellent, but we may see one of those trio sitting out for this match as Prasidh Krishna may well be handed an opportunity.
But one player who may get an opportunity is Ishan Kishan, as the southpaw may well be slotted in place of Suryakumar Yadav.
But it is unlikely that India will be making too many changes, as that often breaks the momentum. Ideally, they would love to rest some players, but the temptation to play the same team and continue the winning combination will also play a part in their psyche.
Captain Rohit Sharma is likely to play in this match. Had Hardik Pandya been fit, team India would have thought of giving Rohit a rest, but that won't be the case in the current scenario.
