New Delhi, Sept 7: Former India opener Virender Sehwag hailed Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell's unbeaten 143-run-innings against Sri Lanka in the 1st Twenty20 International match.

The Nawab of Najafgarh, who is still considered as one of the most explosive openers in the game, wrote on his Twitter handle that watching Maxwell bat felt as if 'some divine spirit entered Maxwell'.
"Raina looked good in his quickfire 50,but Mata to Maxwell me aa gayin. What an innings after being dropped frm ODI team #AusVSL #KararaJawab," tweeted Sehwag.

Sehwag hoped the stylish left-handed batter slams a ton but Raina departed at 52.
Agar Raina me #MataAaJaayein and he plays like T20 ,he can score century before India Green is all out. Has the ability to do so. #PinkBall
