Virender Sehwag trolls birthday boy Ajit Agarkar, calls him 'Modern Day Aryabhatt'

Sehwag poked fun at Agarkar in his trademark style by highlighting the Mumbaikar's achievements in his international career.

New Delhi, Dec 5: Former India opener Virender Sehwag on Sunday (Dec 4) greeted former India all-rounder Ajit Agarkar on his 39th birthday.

The 'Nawab of Najafgarh' who is known for greeting fellow cricketers in his own unique way trolled the former India speedster.

Sehwag poked fun at Agarkar in his trademark style by highlighting the Mumbaikar's achievements in his international career. Sehwag went on trolling Agarkar for a forgettable record and termed latter 'Modern day Aryabhatt'.

"Hpy Bday @imAagarkar . 288wkts,191ODI mtchs-big achvmnt. 100atLord's-bigger achvmnt 5Test Ducks in a row-Biggest achvmnt #ModernDayAryabhatt," Sehwag tweeted.

Agarkar, retired from Test cricket in 2013, was one of the best pacers to have played for India. The right-handed has also impressed with his batting talent which includes a Test hundred at The Lord's.

Agarkar has played 26 Tests for India and got 58 wickets. The Mumbai pacer would always be remembered for his match-winning performance against Australia in the second innings of historic Adelaide Test in 2003.

Agarkar has even opened the Indian innings in ODIs. His highest score in ODIs is 95. His ODI strike rate was 80.62.
