"I met Arjun Tendulkar last summer in England. We played an exhibition game and I was standing at mid-on when he was bowling. He got Brian Lara out," Akram said yesterday (May 13) ahead of today's IPL game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.

"He's young, only 15-year-old. He's keen and is a left arm medium pacer. I spoke to him about his action, the swing. Obviously the fitness is very, very crucial. He's like a sponge, very eager (learner), that's a good thing," Akram told reporters.
Arjun has been a member of Mumbai's age group squad over the last couple of years but seems to be more of a bowler than a batsman, totally opposite to what his father Sachin was right through his 24-year glittering career. Akram is KKR's mentor while the senior Tendulkar is MI's icon player.
