Joe Root was dismissed for a golden duck. Mohammed Shami (4/22) dismissed Ben Stokes for a 10-ball duck and clean bowled Jonny Bairstow (14) as England were left reeling at 39/4 in 9.1 overs.
Kuldeep Yadav joined the party with a delivery which turned sharply from off-stump and cleaned the stumps of Jos Buttler. Lial Livingstone tried delaying India's win with a 46-ball 27. He was trapped by Kuldeep Yadav in front of the stumps. Bumrah cleaned the stumps of Mark Wood to close England's innings at 129 in 34.5 overs.
