World Cup 2023: Virat Kohli's sister lauds 'Awesome' Rohit Sharma on Instagram after Afghanistan century

Virat Kohli's sister has won the social media after lauding India captain Rohit Sharma after the latter's excellent knock against Afghanistan on Wednesday (October 11).

Rohit Sharma scored a scintillating century against the Afghans on Wednesday as India steamrolled them to win by 8 wickets. Rohit scored 131 off just 84 balls as India secured their second victory in as many matches in the ICC World Cup 2023.

Rohit Sharma also scored his 7th century in the World Cup, thus becoming the player with most centuries in the competition history. And after that, Kohli's sister took to Instagram and hailed the Indian captain for his brilliant knock.

Kohli's sister Bhawna Singh Dhingra shared a story through her Instagram profile saying 'Awesome Knock'.

She is a massive fan of Rohit Sharma, and also an avid follower of her brother Virat. Bhawna also made a social media post on her brother after the Australia match. Virat Kohli scored 85 crucial runs for the home side as they toppled the Aussies in Chennai, and Bhawna posted an image with caption 'You are a champ'.

India will take on Pakistan next at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday (October 14). Virat and Rohit both have showcased top-notch batting displays in the tournament. Kohli has scored two half-centuries in two matches, while Rohit has also notched a century after a duck in the first match.
