How India can make the semi-finals?

Scenario 1

If Australia beat Pakistan on Friday (March 25), then India have to defeat Australia in their final league game on Sunday (March 27) to reach the semi-finals without net run rate calculations. If the hosts lose, then Australia will progress with 6 points.

Scenario 2

If Pakistan beat Australia and India lose to Australia then it comes down to net run rate with all the 3 teams locked on 4 points each. India most likely will be out due to poor net run rate compared to other two. Pakistan likely to qualify.

Scenario 3

If both Pakistan-Australia and India-Australia matches are washed out, then India will go through with 5 points.

Scenario 4

If Pakistan defeat Australia, again India-Australia game will be a virtual quarter-final with the winner progressing.

Scenario 5

India's best chance is to win against Australia and decide their fate themselves than leave to others. A victory will definitely take them to knockouts irrespective of other results.
