WPL 2023 Gujarat Giants vs Mumbai Indians: Player of the match, Top Stats, Complete Awards

Mumbai Indians have continued their astonishing run in the WPL with another comprehensive win over Gujarat Giants on Tuesday (March 14).
In the repeat of the very first match of the WPL, Harmanpreet Kaur's MI have completed the double over the Giants and now have confirmed their berth for the WPL playoffs.
Mumbai Indians posted 162 runs on the board after they were put into bat by the Gujarat Giants. Harmanpreet Kaur scored a stormy fifty, while Yastika Bhatia (44) and Nat Sciver-Brunt (36) batted well and contributed significantly. Gujarat Giants never got going in the chase and were pegged back by Hayley Matthews and Nat Sciver-Brunt, who got 3 wickets each. In the end, they limped through to manage on 107/9 as MI registered a 55-run victory.

Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur got the award for hitting two sixes in the match. She scored her third fifty in the tournament, amassing 51 runs off just 30 balls which had 7 fours and 2 sixes.

Mumbai Indians' captain Harmanpreet Kaur was awarded the player of the match for her outstanding batting performance.
