WPL Auction 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore Full Squad, Players List with Price in the Auction

Here is the complete list of the Royal Challengers Bangalore players in the Women's Premier League (WPL) auction of 2023. The squad is being updated live along with the auction.

RCB WPL

The inaugural season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) is set to commence in less than a month. And Royal Challengers Bangalore have built a decent squad in the auction.

A total of 409 players registered for the auction, 246 of them are Indians, along with 163 overseas players. There are 202 capped players and 199 uncapped players. A total of 8 players from the associate nations went under the hammer.

Each team's salary cap for the first WPL season is INR 12 crore. BCCI will also allow 5 overseas players in the starting XI, provided one of those players is from the associate country.

Royal Challengers Bangalore made the first buy of the WPL auction as they signed Smriti Mandhana for a whopping INR 3.4 crore.

Then they backed that up with a fantastic signing of Sophie Devine, who surprisingly, was sold at her base price. RCB's spending spree continued in the Marquee 1 set as they splashed the money again, this time for Ellyse Perry. Indian pacer Renuka Singh will also play alongside Mandhana as the former was bought by RCB for INR 1.5 crore.

RCB then went on to spend big on teenage superstar Richa Ghosh, whom they acquired for a whopping INR 1.9 crore. They also made two late scalps in England captain Heather Knight and South Africa stalwart Dane van Niekerk.

With money available to spend at the very final phase of the auction, RCB went on to buy Australian bowler Megan Schutt, who was unsold in the regular phase of the auction.
