Tarannum Pathan has been sold to Gujarat Giants for Rs 10 lakh and she is the last player to be auctioned at the WPL 2024 Auction in Mumbai.
Royal Challengers Bangalore buy Sophie Molineux from Australia for Rs 30 lakh. Molineux, a left-arm orthodox bowling all-rounder, has been part of the Australian women's team since 2018. She also leads the Melbourne Renegades in the Women's BigBashLeague.
Sabbineni Meghana plays for Railways and India. She plays primarily as a right-handed batter. She was part of India's victorious team in the 2016 Women's Twenty20AsiaCup.
Uncapped India cricketers Nishu Chaudhary and Uma Chetry remain unsold.
Uncapped India cricketer Gouher Sultana has been sold to UP Warriorz for her opening bid of Rs 30 lakh.
Simran Bahadur is next and she gets an opening bid from Royal Challengers Bangalore for her base price of INR 30 Lakh.

Welcome back to the second round of accelerator round. Veda Krishnamurthy is the first player to come up at the auction table and she has been bought at base price of Rs 30 lakh to Gujarat Giants. She will be reunited with her former India teammates at GG and with Mithali Raj - who is the mentor of the side.

The first round of accelerator round finished in a jiffy as there were no bidding wars between franchises. Keerthana Balakrishanan - the uncapped India all-rounder - has been bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 10 lakh.
Fatima Jaffer - the uncapped India cricketer - has been bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 10 lakh.
Nicola Hancock, Milicent Illingworth - both base price Rs 10 lakh - have gone unsold.
Ashwani Kumari - the India uncapped all-rounder - has been bounght by Delhi Capitals for Rs 10 lakh.
Mannat Kashyap - the uncapped India all-rounder - too has been bought by Gujarat Giants for base price of Rs 10 lakh. GG are on a shopping spree in the accelerator round.
Katherin Bryce - the Scotland all-rounder - has been purchased by Gujarat Giants for Rs 10 lakh base price.
Kirstie Gordon (Rs 30 lakh base price) fails to impress any franchise, goes unsold.

UP Warriorz have remaining fund of Rs 2.20 crore and have 17 players in the squad, including 6 overseas players. They have just one player to slot and a big purse with them, they might spoil other team's party by raising the bid and not end up buying them.
Delhi Capitals have a remaining purse of Rs 15 lakh. They have 17 players in their squad, including 6 overseas.
Gujarat Giants still have Rs 2.05 crore in their purse but are yet to buy 4 more players. GG have 14 players, including 5 overs, in the squad so far.

Women's Premier League 2023 edition was the first and Mumbai Indians women won the inaugural edition as they beat the Delhi Capitals side.
