With this win, Mumbai Indians have picked up six points in five games and are now ranked sixth in the table. After losing their first two games, the five-time champions have now secured three consecutive wins.

This is the first instance since IPL 2020, when MI lifted the trophy, that they've won three straight games in a season. Despite the absence of their match-winning bowlers Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai are putting up a brave show in this edition.

Cameron Green - who was awarded the player of the match - scored an unbeaten 40-ball 64 before picking up 1/29 with the ball. The tall all-rounder from Australia certainly proved his worth in his fifth IPL game and slammed his maiden IPL fifty.

The Aussie was brilliantly supported with the bat by Ishan Kishan (38 from 31), Tilak Varma (37 from 17) and Tim David (16 off 11) as MI posted a big total in Hyderabad.

In response, SRH suffered early blows as the centurion from the previous game, Harry Brook (9) and Rahul Tripathi (7) were dismissed inside the powerplay. Captain Markram and Mayank Agarwal steadied the ship for SRH but MI bowlers kept coming hard at the hosts.

Agarwal (48 off 41), Markram (22 off 17) and Heinrich Klaasen (36 off 16) tried to keep their team in the hunt in the big run chase but they were all dismissed while trying to up the ante in the run chase.

Tim David had a good outing in the field as the Australian all-rounder took four catches and effected one run out. Jason Behrendorff, Riley Meredith and Piyush Chawla bagged two wickets each as MI finished the game in style.
