Dafne Schippers Biography

Schippers' early career saw her competing in heptathlon. In 2013, she won a bronze medal in the heptathlon at the World Championships in Moscow. By 2014, she decided to focus solely on sprint events, citing her natural speed as a key factor.

Coaching and Training

Schippers has been coached by Bart Bennema since 2008, with a brief two-year period under US coach Rana Reider. She returned to Bennema in late 2018. Her training has been based in Utrecht, where she resides.
