Dimon started paddling in 2004 in his hometown of Khmelnytskyi. His brother's participation in the sport played a crucial role in his decision to join. Over the years, he has honed his skills under the guidance of coach Mykola Matsapura.

Education and Personal Life

Dimon pursued higher education in Health Studies at Khmelnytskyi National University. He resides in Khmelnytskyi with his partner, Mary Ann. He is multilingual, fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Achievements and Honours

Dimon's dedication to his sport has earned him numerous accolades. He received the Order for Merits [second class] for winning bronze at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. In May 2015, he was named Athlete of the Month by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

His achievements at the 2013 World University Games in Kazan were recognised with the Order for Merits [third class]. Additionally, he holds the title of Honoured Master of Sport in Ukraine.

Dimon's sporting philosophy is simple yet powerful: "Never give up, go for your dream." This motto has guided him through his career. Outside of sports, he enjoys motorsports and looks up to Spanish sprint paddler David Cal as his idol.
