Dylan Borlée Biography

His father, Jacques Borlee, who also serves as his coach, has been a guiding force. Jacques competed in the 400m at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Dylan's older brothers, Kevin and Jonathan, are also accomplished sprinters for Belgium. His sister Olivia won silver in the 4x100m relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, later upgraded to gold.

Career Milestones

In 2013, Dylan and his brothers made history by competing together in the 4x400m relay at the World Championships in Moscow. This achievement marked the first time three siblings participated in a race at this level. Their performance was widely recognised and celebrated.

They previously belonged to Racing Club de Bruxelles under the Belgian Francophone League of Athletics (LBFA).

Everest Quest

In October 2019, Dylan and his Belgian national 4x400m relay teammates embarked on a climb to Mount Everest base camp. Led by their coach Jacques Borlee, this team-building exercise aimed to prepare them for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and raise funds for SOS Children's Villages charity. The group completed the climb in ten days.
