Wiebe began her wrestling journey in grade nine at high school. She was drawn to the sport by a poster on the gymnasium window promoting co-ed wrestling. The opportunity to wear spandex and wrestle boys intrigued her.

Club and Coaching

She trains with the Calgary Dinos Wrestling Club under the guidance of coach Paul Ragusa. Ragusa also coaches her at the national level.

Memorable Achievements

One of Wiebe's most memorable achievements is winning gold in the 75kg category at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. This victory stands out as a significant milestone in her career.

Wiebe's sporting philosophy is grounded in hard work and teamwork. She believes that being an Olympic champion is a testament to her efforts but acknowledges the hard work of her teammates and competitors.
