Kolkata, Jan 24: Defending champions ATK on Wednesday (January 24) sacked their head coach Teddy Sheringham following the poor run in the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) season.

ATK's technical Director Ashley Westwood, the former Bengaluru FC coach, will be temporarily taking the team's affairs before they ATK announce a replacement for Sheringham.
"ATK today announced a change in their coaching set-up. ATK Team management would like to thank Teddy Sheringham for his services towards ISL Season 4. We wish him all the very best for his future endeavours. Ashley Westwood will be the interim Head Coach." ATK said in a press release.
ATK, the two time ISL champions, are languishing at the eighth spot in the 10-team league table with just three wins from 10 matches. They have suffered 4 defeats and played 3 draws to collect just 12 points so far.
