Gurpreet Singh, born on 03 February 1992, is a professional Goalkeeper from India. Wearing jersey number 1, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
Born in Punjab, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu began his professional footballing journey with East Bengal. He represented them in the Hero I-League from 2012 to 2014 before joining Norway-based club Stabaek Fotball. There, he became the first Indian to feature in a UEFA Europa League match, starting in Stabaek’s Europa League qualifying round against Welsh side Connah's Quay. Gurpreet returned to India to join Bengaluru FC prior to the 2017-18 season. With the Blues, he was a runner-up in the Hero ISL that season and a winner in the Hero Super Cup. He eventually added a Hero ISL trophy to his cabinet in 2018-19 besides winning the Golden Glove award. He backed it up with more stunning displays during the 2019-20 season, winning the Golden Glove award again.
