Born in Naharlagun, Arunanchal Pradesh, Nikum is an Indian midfielder who is part of Mumbai City FC. He was scouted by Rajasthan United FC and went on to become one of the youngest and the first player from his state to feature in the Hero I-League qualifiers at the age of 16. Gyamar made his way to the first team and impressed for RUFC during their debut Hero I-League season in 2021-22 before signing for the Islanders on a long-term deal.
