Halen Nongtdu, born on 02 February 2004, is a professional Defender from India. Wearing jersey number 29, and has been an important part of the squad with his consistent performances. He has consistently contributed with strong performances throughout his career.
Halen Nongtdu was born in Meghalaya and rose through the ranks in the age-group sides of the Pune-based club DSK Shivajians. The young center-back was later brought into the Indian Arrows set up where he became an integral part of the Arrows team. Nongtdu is one of the captains of the India U20 side and led India to the SAFF U20 Championship title in Bhubaneswar before representing the Blue Tigers at the U20 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers in Kuwait. The defender joins Mumbai City FC on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
