Carlo Ancelotti is nearing the end of his stint at Real Madrid as the Italian veteran is poised to join Brazil as their head coach in the summer.
As per various reports, Ancelotti is closing in on a deal as the new Brazil head coach and he may leave the Spanish club before the Club World Cup 2025, which is slated to start from June 14.

Real Madrid has been in tatters this season. After an unceremonious exit from the Champions League at the hands of Arsenal, their quest for the Copa del Rey title ended without success. After a pulsating encounter, they lost to Barcelona 2-3 as Jules Kounde scored a 116th-minute winner in the Final.
Ancelotti, a serial winner as coach, was on the tight ropes for some time and he is certain to leave the club by the end of the season. As per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Selecao have struck a deal with the current Real Madrid boss, and they are negotiating and finalizing the staff numbers and names.
If everything goes smoothly, Ancelotti will be in the Brazil dug out for the World Cup qualifiers in June, where they play Ecuador (Away) and Paraguay (Home) respectively.
Amid this, Real Madrid's season doesn't end after the La Liga. The Spanish giants will be participating in the Club World Cup, a new FIFA venture which will see 32 clubs participating in the inaugural season of the competition.
With Ancelotti leaving immediately, Real Madrid would need a manager who can guide them in the competition. The Spanish club is expected to consider the Club World Cup seriously as the season hasn't been the best for them, and they will be aiming to rope in the new manager who can take the reins.
Currently managing Bayer Leverkusen, Alonso has garnered attention for his impressive work in the Bundesliga. A former Real Madrid midfielder, his deep understanding of the club's culture and tactical acumen make him a leading candidate. Reports suggest he is the favorite to succeed Ancelotti at Santiago Bernabeu.
Solari, Real Madrid's former interim manager and current Director of Football, is considered a potential interim solution. He could oversee the team during the Club World Cup, providing a seamless transition before a permanent appointment.
Having previously led Real Madrid to multiple Champions League titles, Zidane remains a revered figure at the club. Currently without a managerial position, his return is a possibility, given his past success and familiarity with the team's dynamics. The French legend knows the club from inside out and can be the successor for Ancelotti.
After departing Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has taken a sabbatical from football. However, he has expressed interest in managing Real Madrid in the future. While his immediate return to coaching is uncertain, his long-term aspirations align with the club's ambitions. But many reports suggest the German has already declined offers from Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho, a former Real Madrid manager, has hinted at the possibility of returning to the club. His experience and previous tenure could make him a viable option.
