Geoff Huegill Biography

At 13, Huegill and his brother Graeme moved to Brisbane on a scholarship from Redcliffe swimming club. While Graeme eventually returned home, Geoff stayed to train under Ken Wood. His international debut came in 1997 at the World Short Course Championships in Sweden, representing Australia.

Coaching and Training

Since 2008, Huegill has been coached by Grant Stoelwinder at SOPAC and the New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS). His training has been pivotal in his career, helping him achieve significant milestones.

Huegill resides in Sydney with his wife Sara, who he credits as the most influential person in his career. They married in 2011 on the Indonesian island of Bali. The couple welcomed their first child in early 2012.
