Brayshaw's team clinched the top spot in the Women's Quadruple Sculls at the World Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2023. They finished with a time of 6:29.70. The previous year, they secured a bronze medal at the World Championships in Racice, Czech Republic, with a time of 6:21.25.

In the 2024 season, Brayshaw's team achieved first place in the Women's Quadruple Sculls at the World Cup. In 2023, they secured two second-place finishes in the same event. Additionally, Brayshaw earned second place in the Women's Double Sculls during the 2022 season.
Brayshaw has also excelled at the European Championships. In 2022, her team won gold in the Women's Quadruple Sculls and followed it up with a bronze medal in 2023.
Brayshaw is set to make her Olympic debut. Her team is currently ranked first in the Women's Quadruple Sculls event. They competed against teams from Germany, Switzerland, China, Netherlands, and Ukraine at the Vaires-sur-Marne Stadium on 31 July 2024.
Brayshaw faced significant challenges early in life. At age 15, she was paralysed on her left side following a horseback riding accident and was in a coma for nine days. Despite doctors' initial prognosis that she would spend her life in a wheelchair, she made a remarkable recovery through extensive rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
Brayshaw first tried rowing in 2015 after her father suggested it during her second year at university. She initially failed to make the cut for the GB Start project but persisted and eventually joined Leeds Rowing Club. After completing university, she earned a spot in the GB Start programme.
In recognition of her achievements, Brayshaw was named British Rowing Female Olympic Athlete of the Year in 2023.
