She trains with ASCC Champigny in France under the guidance of national coach Ludovic Vo. Her sister Oumou and coach Abdesslam Bamou have been influential figures in her career, fostering her talent early on.
One of her most memorable achievements was qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. This came after winning gold at the 2015 Grand Prix in Manchester, England, which was her first competition back after a knee injury in August 2015.

The Turkish taekwondoka Nur Tatar has been a key rival. Tatar defeated her at the 2015 World Championships and the 2015 European Games. However, she managed to defeat Tatar at the 2015 Grand Prix in Manchester and the Grand Prix Final in Mexico City.
She is known for her special move, the 'Scorpion kick'. "I love the 'Scorpion kick'. When we are in the clinch, when she [her opponent] thinks I can't do anything, then I fire the Scorpion kick," she explained.
She works for France's national railway provider, SNCF, as a commercial agent in Paris. She benefits from SNCF's high-performance programme for elite athletes, which provides financial support and time off work to train.
Coming from a Senegalese background, she is the youngest among seven siblings. Her sister Oumou formerly competed in taekwondo and was runner-up at the French national championships in 2005. Her father, Samba Niare, is a former national wrestling champion in Senegal.
Her sporting philosophy is clear: "You don't become a champion overnight. You have to want it and work at it every day. It is a matter of patience and consistency." Outside of taekwondo, she enjoys dancing.
