Flickinger pursued higher education in Finance at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, USA. During her time there, she competed for the university's swim team and received the 2014/15 Scholar-Athlete Award for swimming and diving.

Professional Career

Flickinger's most memorable sporting achievement was qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Games in the 400m individual medley at the US Olympic Trials. She trains with Sun Devil Swimming in Phoenix, AZ, under coach Bob Bowman.
