India beat China 7-2
Full Time! The final hooter has been blown and three time champions India open their campaign on a dominating note. The Harmanpreet Singh-led side were simply majestic in their performance. The Chinese players weren't able to mitigate the assault which Indians have inflicted upon their ranks.
PC for India in 57th minute
Penalty Corner for India in 57'! India get yet another PC. They've converted quite a few of these in this game. Hardik Singh injected it to perfection and Harmanpreet Singh's drag flick was also good but an alert Chinese goalie prevented it.
Sheer domination from Indians

Indian players have dominated the match from the word go and they are looking to finish things in style. This is the kind of start that will force their opponents to be wary of India in the upcoming games. The shoulders of the Chinese players - who are also battering the humid conditions in Chennai - look all but demoralised.
