The Hockey Asian Champions Trophy 2023 will come to a conclusion on Saturday (August 12) at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Chennai as India take on Malaysia in the title clash.
The show stopper on the final day of the tournament hosts India - who are unbeaten in the tournament - will face an upbeat Malaysia in the final.

In the semi-finals, Malaysia defeated defending champions South Korea with an emphatic 6-2 scoreline, while India thrashed Japan 5-0 in the second semifinal.

What a pulsating contest the crowd at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium witnessed. They came in good numbers to support and cheer for the home side. They had to stay calm for almost 30 minutes as Team India were trailing but they turned it around in the 45th minute of the game to score back-to-back goals and equalised for the team.

Malaysia have had an upper hand as they've managed to pump-in a couple of goals in the second quarter and lead 3-1 at the half time. The Indians have been in disarray in the last 17 minutes of the game and hence they are trailing by two goals.
