Yuting Huang, a 17-year-old shooter from China, has made significant strides in the sport of shooting. Born on 3 September 2006, Huang has already achieved notable success in her young career. She is currently ranked second in the 10m Air Rifle Women event and first in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event.

In addition to her individual success, Huang also excelled in team events. She secured a gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event alongside her teammate Sheng Lihao. The Chinese team defeated Korea with a score of 16-12 on 27 July 2024.
Huang holds the Qualification World Record Junior for the 10m Air Rifle Women's Qualification with a score of 635.3, set in Munich, Germany, on 2 June 2024. Her achievements at the World Championships include multiple gold medals in both individual and team events.
In the 2023 World Championships held in Baku, Azerbaijan, she won gold in the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Team event with a score of 632.7. She also secured gold in the Women's 10m Air Rifle Team event at the 2022 World Championships in Cairo, Egypt, with a score of 940.8.
Huang's success extends to the World Cup as well. In Munich, Germany, she won gold in both the Women's 10m Air Rifle and Mixed 10m Air Rifle Team events in 2024. Her scores were 635.3 and 635.1 respectively.
She also achieved gold medals at the World Cup events held in Baku, Azerbaijan, and Bhopal, India, in both individual and mixed team categories.
Huang began her shooting career at the age of ten when she was talent-spotted by the Huangyan District Youth Sports School. She made her debut at the World Championship in Cairo, Egypt, in 2022.
Her training takes place in Beijing under the guidance of national coach Ge Hongzhuan. She has a unique ritual of adorning her gun stand with a panda plush toy for good luck.
Huang's rapid progress was supported by her family, who rented a house near her school to facilitate her training while studying. This support has been crucial to her development as an athlete.
She has been recognised as an Elite Athlete of National Class by the General Administration of Sport of China in 2022.
