Ivan Litvinovich Olympics 2024

Litvinovich's early exposure to trampolining came through his mother. By the age of one, he was already walking and jumping on a trampoline. At five, he started tumbling before switching to trampolining. He trained under Petr Zaitsev and later caught the attention of Belarusian national coach Olga Vlasova in 2017.

Club and Coaching

Currently, Litvinovich trains at the Republican Centre for Olympic Training in Gymnastic Sports in Minsk. Under the guidance of Olga Vlasova, he has honed his skills and achieved remarkable success. His dedication to the sport is evident through his rigorous training regimen.

Achievements and Recognition

One of Litvinovich's most memorable achievements is winning team gold and individual silver at the 2019 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan. This accomplishment stands out as a testament to his hard work and talent. Additionally, he has received the title of Master of Sport of International Class in Belarus.

Personal Interests and Beliefs

Outside of trampolining, Litvinovich enjoys playing computer games and watching movies. He admires Chinese trampoline gymnast Dong Dong and aims to replicate his success by winning three more medals at future Olympic Games. His superstitions include avoiding communication before important events and not wanting his parents to watch him compete.

Mental Challenges

Litvinovich acknowledges that his mental approach to training can be a weakness. He struggles with patience and sometimes resorts to extreme measures like not eating to lose weight quickly. This can lead to fatigue and frustration, affecting his performance. However, he recognises these issues and works on improving his mental resilience.

As Ivan Litvinovich continues his journey in trampolining, his focus remains on achieving greater heights. With determination and support from his coaches, he aims to leave a lasting impact on the sport.
