Training and Coaching

Desplanches trained under Fabrice Pellerin in Nice from 2015 until after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Following his bronze medal win in the 200m individual medley at Tokyo, he decided to switch coaches. He began working with Philippe Lucas in Martigues, aiming to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
