Jaismine's journey into boxing began under the guidance of her uncles, Parvinder and Sandeep Singh. Both are accomplished boxers and coaches. Parvinder won seven national titles between 2000 and 2007 and competed at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Sandeep also secured two senior national titles.
