Jessica Fox Biography

Fox's parents competed at the Olympic level, which inspired her to take up paddling after breaking her arm in gymnastics. She quickly improved and aimed to see how far she could go. Her club is Penrith Valley Canoeing in Sydney, and her coach is her mother, Myriam Fox.

Achievements and Milestones

Jessica Fox has an impressive list of awards and honours. She was named the 2019 Paddler of the Year at the Paddle Australia Awards. In 2018, she was named Sportswoman of the Year at the World Paddle Awards and Female Athlete of the Year at the AIS Sport Performance Awards. Fox made history by becoming the first slalom paddler to win seven individual world titles at the 2018 World Championships in Rio de Janeiro.
