Ghatkopar Kabaddi Premier League Season 4 to commence from April 21

The Kabaddi season in Maharashtra is in full swing with back-to-back tournaments lined up for the entire month of April. But Ghatkopar Kabaddi Premier League Season 4 is at the centre of attraction in the state.

The Ghatkopar Kabaddi Premier League - which aims at promoting young kabaddi talents in the region - has onboard International brand 1xBat Sporting as the sponsor for the season.

The competition is set to enter its fourth season with 10 teams participating in the Senior Men's category. It is organised in affiliation with the Mumbai Upnagar Kabaddi Association. The tournament is going to be digitised by SportVot app this year.

The tournament has adopted the auction process for the selection of players in the team. The players' auction was held recently in Mumbai wherein all the ten teams bid for the best talent from Mumbai Upnagar.

Along with the defending champion from Season 3, Delhi Yoddha and Devansh Superking, Veer Maratha, Bhatwadi Sai Rakshak, Samata Warriors, Ram Shakti and Siddhivinayak are some of the prominent teams to be participating in the tournament.

Renowned kabaddi athletes such as Rahul Hegde, Kiran Kadam, Gufran Khan, Abhishek Nar and Rishant Dev will be seen putting their best foot forward during the tournament.

With an action-packed line-up for the tournament, it is safe to say that it is going to be a non-stop Kabaddi bonanza for the fans. The commencement date has now been revised from April 20 to 21 as Mumbai Upnagar athletes get ready to showcase their skills to the world.
