First season of the tournament has seen 8 team participating from across the state. The main obejective to the league, held on the lines of cash-rich IPL, is to promote the game at local level and help players earn money.
The tournament's final will be held on June 19.
Talking exclusively to OneIndia Sangram Singh expressed his happiness on being associated with the league as its brand ambassador and said the move will help promote India's very own game.
"I thank the people for giving me unconditional love and support. Such an event will promote India's very own game at grassroot level and encourage youngsters to build their career in Kabaddi."
Around 1 lakh people gathered at Village Nidhani in Haryana to watch the event.
