In early 2015, he suffered a knee injury, and in late 2013, he required four stitches after cutting his right hand during training.

In 2021, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Final Four of the Croatian Cup. This accolade is a testament to his skill and dedication to water polo.

Break from National Team
