Throughout his career, Nespoli has received numerous accolades. He was named Best Male Athlete of the 2019 European Games in Minsk at the ANOC Awards in Doha. Additionally, he has received the Golden Star for Sports Merit from the province of Pavia and is an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

His parents have been the most influential figures in his career, and he idolises German Formula One driver Michael Schumacher.
In February 2020, Nespoli faced a significant setback when thieves stole his bow from his training venue in Voghera. The bow was returned a month later after an appeal on social media. Despite being slightly stripped, there was no structural damage, allowing him to continue using it for competitions.
Looking ahead, Nespoli aims to compete at future Olympic Games. His commitment to archery remains unwavering as he continues to train under coach Luciano Malovini with the Aeronautica Militare team.
Nespoli's journey from a young boy inspired by Robin Hood to an internationally recognised archer is a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport. As he continues to aim for new heights, his story serves as an inspiration for aspiring athletes worldwide.
